Rules of Play

RULES OF PLAY:
 
FIFA laws are observed with the following modifications for 7v7 play:
*Games will consist of 2-30 minute halves with a 5 minute halftime.
*2 women minimum must be on the field at all times.
*Substitutions are unlimited and “on the fly” from midfield, as long as they do not interfere with the flow of play.
 
Kick-off:  Direct kick -- On the whistle, ball may be played in any direction on the first touch.
 
No offsides.
 
No slide tackling.
 
Goal Keeper distribution—ball must touch the field or a player before crossing midfield.  No drop kicks permitted.  Keepers may play the ball past midfield if hands were NOT used to control possession of the ball.
 
Places will be determined using a point scale:  Win – 3 points, Tie – 1 point, Loss – 0 points
 
Followed by goal differential if points are tied.
